
Steven Miller
Steven Miller is a 5th Degree Black Belt and has
played an integral part in the establishment of Midtown Taekwondo. He
began training in 1986 at age 5 in Marietta,
Georgia.
Mr. Miller has since reached prominence as a world-class tournament
competitor. Among his achievements: Gold Medallist
at the 1995 GTF World Games in Italy; Gold Medallist at
the 1996 GTF World Games in Scotland; Gold Medallist
in the 1997 AAU Junior Olympics; Gold Medallist at
the AAU National Championships in 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000; Gold Medallist at USTL National Championship in 2001, 2002,
2003, 2004, and 2005, along with USTL Team Sparring Gold Medallists
in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005. 1994 USTF National Champion; 1997,
1999, 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003, 2005 2006 & 2008 CTF National Champion;
2004, 2005, 2007 & 2008 CTF National Power Breaking Champion; CTF Competitor
of the Year in 1994, 1996, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2005 & 2008; CTF Coach
of the Year in 2004 and 2008. Mr. Miller began instructing in 1989, and
is a certified instructor and a master level referee with the Choong Sil Taekwondo
Federation. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University
of Memphis
in May 2003.
